Okay i don't know exactly what inspired it but this is all about the big aussie vibe awning. I originally imagined it as a big red cloth but after this i can see it as an anti-UV tarp.

It's designed to allow people on the roof to stay in the shade and still have line of sight with the water's edge. It features all the needed equipment for a fully functional lifeguard station including an ATV (not yet pictured).

The lifeguards themselves are almost always on the roof blasting the radio with a couple friends either surfing or sprawled out on the garage roof.
